Der Winter ist da. Auch am Balaton stehen die Zeichen auf Winterzeit, so hat die Autofähre in Szántód und Tihany ihre Zeiten geändert. Vom 5. November an fährt die Fähre von 7:00 bis 18:00 Uhr ab Szántód und von 7:15 Uhr – 18:15 uhr von Tihany. Sie fährt stündlich ab. Der Fährbetrieb läuft ganzjährig, solange die Wettersituation es zulässt.

Here comes winter season: the ferry of Balaton became hourly
There will be a change in the schedule of the ferry of Balaton. From Monday the flights are less frequent than before, they only travel hourly between Szántód and Tihany – informed MTI by Balaton Hajózási Zrt.
From the 5th of November, the ferries run from Szántód from 7.00 to 18.00, from Tihany from 7.15 to 18.15, starting every hour. In the case of large traffic, the roads are often condensed on weekends and holidays.
The ferry of Balaton operates all year long, except in extreme weather conditions, or if the lake is covered with thick ice, it does not work.

Kezdődik a téli szezon: Már csak óránként jár a Balatoni komp
Változik a balatoni komp menetrendje, hétfőtől a járatok a korábbinál ritkábban, már csak óránként közlekednek Szántód és Tihany között – tájékoztatta a Balatoni Hajózási Zrt. az MTI-t.
November 5-étől a kompok Szántód felől 7.00 és 18.00 óra között, Tihany felől 7.15-18.15 között közlekednek, óránként indulva. Nagy forgalom esetén, főként hétvégeken, ünnepeken sűrítik a járatokat.
A balatoni komp egész évben üzemel, csak szélsőséges időjárás esetén, illetve ha a tavat vastag jég borítja, akkor nem jár.
