Felvonták a magyar lobogót az olimpiai faluban
Helyi idő szerint 15 órakor kezdőtdött a hivatalos téliolimpiai műsor melynek keretein belül felvonták a magyar csapat zászlóját. A magyar csapatot Kónya Zsófia és Jászapáti Petra rövidpályás gyorskorcsolyázó vezette.
Az ünnepségen előbb a svéd, majd az izraeli lobogót húzta fel két, hagyományos viseletben lévő férfi, végül harmadikként a magyar következett.
