Neuseeland – Diese beiden großen und mehrere kleineren Inseln bilden ein Staat im Südwestpazifik. Es ist etwa 1500 km von Australien entfernt. Seine Fläche ist fast dreimal so groß wie Ungarn.
Früher hieß es Aotearoa, in der Sprache der Maori heißt das, das Land der langen weißen Wolken. Was angesichts des ozeanischen und bergischen Klimas im Süden und das subtropische im Norden der Insel durchaus zutreffend ist . Aufgrund der besonderen Lage des Landes, wurden drei Landschaften in die Liste des UNESCO-Weltkulturerbes aufgenommen.
Es ist jedoch wichtig zu wissen, dass Neuseeland eine der neuesten Siedlungen unserer Erde ist. Die ersten Einwohner wanderten im 13. Jahrhundert aus Polynesien aus und schufen die Maori-Kultur. Im Gegensatz dazu betrug die Bevölkerung Neuseelands laut der Volkszählung 4.475.600 Einwohner (im Jahre 2013), und die Touristen bleiben am längsten in diesem Land.
Der durchschnittliche Aufenthalt der Besucher beträgt 19 Tage. Außerdem ist auch interessant, dass viele der Hollywood-Erfolgsfilme hier gedreht wurden, wie der Herr der Ringe, der Jurassic Park oder der sechste Teil der Mission: Impossible Filmserie.

Land of the long white clouds – New Zealand
This country is made from two major and smaller island, which are located in the Southwest Pacific. It is about 1500 km from Australia.
Its territory is almost three times the size of Hungary.
In the old times, it was called the land of Aotearoa, which means „Land of the long white cloud“ in the Maori language.
The southern part of the island is dominated by ocean and mountain climates, while the north has subtropical climates. Due to the country’s special position on Earth, three landscapes have been added to the UNESCO World Heritage List.
However, it is important to note that New Zealand is one of the latest settlements of our Earth. Its first inhabitants migrated from Polynesia in the 13th century, creating the Maori culture.
In contrast, according to the 2013 census, the population of New Zealand was 4,475,600, and the tourists stay the longest in this country. The average stay is 19 days, which is the longest in the world.
And, of course, there is no disadvantage that many of Hollywood’s success movies were shot here. Such as the Lord of the Rings, the Jurassic Park, or the sixth part of Mission: Impossible.

A hosszú fehér felhő földje – Új-Zéland
Ez a két nagyobb és számos kisebb szigetből álló állam a Csendes-óceán délnyugati részén található. Ausztráliától körülbelül 1500 km-re fekszik. Területe Magyarország területének majdnem háromszorosa.
Annak idején a bennszülött maorik nyelvén Aotearoa-nak, azaz a hosszú fehér felhő földjének nevezték. Ami igencsak találó, tekintve, hogy a sziget déli részén óceáni és hegyvidéki éghajlat uralkodik, az északi részén szubtrópusi. Az országnak a Földön elfoglalt különleges helyzete miatt három táj is felkerült az UNESCO világörökség listájára.
Azonban fontos megjegyeznünk, hogy Új-Zéland egyike Földünk legkésőbb benépesült szárazföldjeinek. Első lakosai Polinéziából vándoroltak be a 13. században, ők hozták létre a maori kultúrát. Ezzel szemben a 2013-as népszámlálási adatok szerint Új-Zéland lakossága 4 475 600 fő volt, és a turisták ebben az országban tartózkodnak a legtovább.
Az átlagos tartózkodási idő 19 nap, ami a világon a leghosszabbnak tekinthető. És persze az sem hátrány, hogy számos Hollywood-i sikerfilmet itt forgattak. Mint például a Gyűrűk Urát, a Jurassic Parkot, vagy épp a Mission: Impossible hatodik részét.
