Der Schlittenhunde-Wettbewerb ist einer der härtesten Competions weltweit. Die Strecke ist 330 KM lang auf der die Teilnehmer gegen Kälte, Zeit und andere Schwierigkeiten auf der Strasse kämpfen müssen.
Kitti ist eine von 10 Teilnehmern, die durch ein spezielles Auswahlverfahren ausgewählt wurden. Es ist ein Highlight für sie und ihre Familie, die seit 1989 Hunde züchten.

A Hungarian girl can go on the 2018 Fjällräven Polar
Kitti Zaja achieved what she wanted, after a long campaing and work. She is the only Hungarian who can go to the Fjällräven Polar competition in 2018. But her job is not just to represent our country at the renowned event, because Kitti is the only competitor who is start in the Central Europe region.
Kitti’s dream isn’t just ordinary, because this competition is considered to be one of the hardest in the world, where hard conditions await not only her, but the sledding dogs that accompany her. The hike is a 330 km long, where competitors have to fight time, cold and any difficulties on the road.
Competitors are casual people who have the opportunity to sign up each year, demonstrating their willingness to try out. This year’s contesters will be able to compete with ten delegates of the region and start off with the highest number of voters. But ten more contestants will be selected by the organizers based on their campaign videos.
Kitti was able to compete with the votes, but his joy was boundless when she heard of the news that she win. She tells that, her family has been breeding dogs since 1989, and she has known animals since childhood.
Her plan is a brave thing and we are here, rooting to succeed.

Magyar lány indulhat a 2018-as Fjällräven Polar-on
Zaja Kitti hosszas kampányolás és munka után elérte amit szeretett volna. Ugyanis egyedüli magyarként, ő az, aki indulhat a 2018-as Fjällräven Polar-on. Ám feladata nem csak az, hogy hazánkat képviseli a neves eseményen, hiszen Kitti az egyedüli versenyző, aki a Közép Európia régió nevében indul.
Kitti válallkozása nem épp mindennapi, hisz ezt a versenyt az egyik legnehezebbnek tartják a világon, ahol kemény körülmények várnak nem csak rá, hanem az őt kísérő szánhúzó kutyákra is. A túra ugyanis embert próbáló, 330 kilométeres, ahol a versenyzőknek meg kell küzdenie az idővel, a hideggel és az esetleges nehézségekkel út közben.
A versenyzők hétköznapi emberek, akiknek minden évben lehetősége van jelentkezni, ezzel bizonyítva, hogy szívesen kipróbálnák magukat. Az idei versenyben tíz régió küldöttei mérkőzhetnek meg és az indulhatott, aki a legtöbb szavazatott kapta. Ám további tíz versenyzőt, a szervezők választanak ki, a kampányvideóik alapján.
Kitti a szavatok segítségével jutott a versenybe, de öröme határtalan volt, amikor értesült a hírről, hogy bekerült. Elmondása szerint családja már 1989 óta tenyészt huskykat, így gyerekkora óta jól ismeri az állatokat. Vállalkozása mindenesetre bátor dolog, és drukkolunk, hogy sikerrel járjon.
