Etwa 5,5 Milliarden Forint Investitionen sind Teil des von der deutschen Continental Automotive Company in Budapest gegründeten fortgeschrittenen Software-Entwicklungszentrums.
In der neuen Zentrale wird die Entwicklung auf höchstem technologischem Niveau erfolgen und es werden speziell geschaffene hochqualifizierte Arbeitsplätze geschaffen.
Continental Automotive Hungary Kft. beschäftigt achttausend Mitarbeiter in Ungarn. Bei der Pressekonferenz sagte der Außenminister Péter Szijjártó, dass die Weltwirtschaft und der Technologiewandel von der Automobilindustrie angetrieben werden. Wenn Ungarn in der Automobilindustrie weiterhin erfolgreich ist, dann kann die ungarische Wirtschaft der Gewinner des großen Digitalzeitalters sein.
Er stellte außerdem fest, dass mehr als zwei Drittel der in Ungarn tätigen deutschen Unternehmen ihr Geschäft als gut bezeichnen. Mehr als die Hälfte der Unternehmen möchte ihre Investitionen erhöhen und mehr als 60 Prozent planen ihre Mitarbeiter zu erhöhen.
Karl Haupt, Leiter Advanced Business Support Systems bei der Continental AG, sagte: Einer der wichtigsten Trends in der Automobilindustrie ist die Entwicklung von selbstfahrenden Autos, einer der am schnellsten wachsenden Branchen des Marktes. Continental entwickelt komplette Systeme für selbstfahrende Autos.
Continental wird im Mai sein Zentrum für künstliche Intelligenz in Budapest eröffnen. In diesem Bereich wird das Budapester Team Innovationen innerhalb des Unternehmens leiten.

A new software development center is being built in Budapest

Új szoftverfejlesztő központ épül Budapesten
Mintegy 5,5 milliárd forintos beruházás része az a fejlett szoftverfejlesztő központ, amelyet a német Continental autóipari vállalat hoz létre Budapesten.
Az új központban a legmagasabb technológiai színvonalon folyik majd a fejlesztő tevékenység, és kifejezetten magas képzettséget igénylő munkahelyek jönnek létre.
A Continental Automotive Hungary Kft. jelenleg nyolcezer dolgozót foglalkoztat Magyarországon.
A keddi sajtótájékoztatón Szijjártó Péter külügyminiszter elmondta: a világgazdasági-technológiai átalakulást az autóipar vezeti, ha Magyarország az autóiparban továbbra is sikeres, akkor a magyar gazdaság a nagy digitális átállás győztese lehet.
Valamint megjegyezte, hogy a Magyarországon működő német vállalatok több mint kétharmada jónak tekinti saját üzleti helyzetét. A cégek több mint fele növelni akarja beruházásait, és több mint 60 százaléka létszámbővítést tervez.
Karl Haupt, a Continental AG fejlett vezető támogató rendszerek üzletágának vezetője elmondta: az egyik legfontosabb trend az autóiparban az önvezető autók fejlesztése, az iparágon belül ez az egyik leggyorsabban növekvő terület. A Continental teljes rendszereket fejleszt önvezető autókhoz.
A Continental vállalat májusban nyitja meg mesterséges intelligencia központját Budapesten. Ezen a területen a budapesti csapat vezeti majd az innovációt a cégen belül, a magyar műszaki hagyományok és a gazdasági környezet jól támogatják a vállalat elképzeléseit.
