Ungarn bewirbt sich für die World Urban Games 2019. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine neue Generation von Multisport Event. Ein jugendliches Sportevent dieser Kategorie inmitten von Budapest würde Sinn machen. Hier gibt es beispielsweise Sportarten wie Basketball, BMX, Roller Skating, Skateboarding und mehr. Ganz günstig ist die Bewerbung und die evtl. Durchführung dieser Spiele zwar nicht, aber Budapest scheut sich vor diesen Kosten anscheinend nicht.

Budapest applying for next year’s World Urban Games organizing
A government decision issued on Tuesday shows that the Hungarian state supports the idea that Budapest should be the 2019 World Urban Games venue. 100 million forints will be awarded to the application and 2,895 billion forints will be awarded for the settlement.
World Urban Games is a new generation multisport event, a kind of „youthful sports festival in the heart of the city“. There are sports such as BMX, roller skating, skateboarding, 3×3 basketball, teqball or breakthrough.

Budapest pályázik a jövőévi World Urban Games rendezésére
Egy, kedden megjelent kormányhatározatból kiderül, a magyar állam támogatja az ötletet, miszerint Budapest legyen a 2019-es World Urban Games helyszíne. A pályázatra 100 millió forintot biztosítanak, a rendezés elnyerése esetén pedig további 2,895 milliárd forintot ad a lebonyolításra.
A World Urban Games egy új generációs multisport-esemény, egyfajta „fiatalos sportfesztivál a város szívében“. Olyan sportágak tartoznak ide, mint a BMX, a görkorcsolya, a gördeszka, a 3×3 kosárlabda, a teqball vagy a breaktánc.
