Wir können sagen, dass das Café Szomszéd – „Der Nachbar“ in Györs Kisfaludy Straße ein kleiner Traum des Inhabers war, zuerst eine Idee für Freunde. Ziel war es, einen lockeren, gemütlichen, weitläufigen Raum inmitten der barocken Innenstadt zu schaffen, in dem sich alle wohlfühlen können.
Es gehen voraus: Viele Jahre Erfahrung der Gastgeber und ein hauch von Perfektion, ob bei Ausrüstung, Einrichtung oder den Service
In der Nähe der Kisfaludy Straße 26 wartet „Szomszéd“ von 11.00 bis 23.00 Uhr auf die Gäste – An den Wochenenden öffnet der Nachbar dann noch länger. „Nachbar“ übrigens deshalb weil man sich nach langen Verhandlungen einig war, daß es das freundschaftliche, gemütliche symbolisiert…Einfach eine Tür weiter bei den Nachbarn einkehren.
Es gibt herrliche Kaffeesorten in verschiedenen Variationen, leckere Limonaden aus frischen Früchten und natürlich eine Menge spezieller Cocktails, die fast alle auf eigenen Rezepten basieren. Für den Hunger zwischendurch ist auch gesorgt in dem gemütlichen Ambiente.
Großen Wert legt man hier jedoch auch auf soziale Projekte. Wenige Wochen vorher hatte man dem Tierheim in Győr mit einem inszenierten Fotoshooting geholfen bei dem Tierfutter gespendet wurde, während der Weihnachtszeit wurden Geschenke für die Waisen gesammelt und überreicht. Also rundum ein Café mit Herz 🙂

A place with soul: Szomszéd cafe Győr
We can say that the café called „The Neighbor“ in Győr’s Kisfaludy Street was a dream, idea for friends. Their goal was to create a loose, cozy, sprawling space in the middle of the baroque city center, where everyone can feel well.
Many years of experience among hosts are shared, and all – whether we look at the equipment or the service – tell us that they strive for perfection.
Located next to Kisfaludy Street 26, „The neighbor“ waits for guests from 11 am until 11 pm, but on the weekends they open even more. According to them, the name of „the Neighbor“ came after lengthy negotiations, and they wanted to emphasize the looseness of the atmosphere. It’s as if we were just going to the next door, for a friendly wine-making and conversation.
But they also put an emphasis on helping others. Earlier, they helped the animal shelter in Győr, with a photo shoot, while at Christmas time they collected gifts for the orphans who live in the city, and many guests joined.

Egy hely, aminek lelke van: Szomszéd kávézó Győr
A Győri Kisfaludy utcában található Szomszéd kávézó anno egy baráti társaság ötlete, mondhatni álma volt. Céluk az volt, hogy egy laza, hangulatos, pörgő helyet alakítsanak ki a barokk belváros közepén, ahol mindenki jól érezheti magát, és a társaság tagjai elégedetten gondoljanak a kávézóra.
A tulajdonosok közt több éves vendéglátói tapasztalat oszlik meg, és minden – akár a berendezést, akár a kiszolgálást nézzük – arról árulkodik, hogy a tökéletességre törekednek.
A Kisfaludy utca 26. alatt található Szomszéd mindennap reggel 11-től egészen este 11-ig várja vendégeit, ám a hétvégéken tovább is nyitvatartanak. Elmondásuk szerint a Szomszéd név hosszas tárgyalások után jutott eszükbe és ezzel is szerették volna hangsúlyozni a légkör lazaságát. Mintha csak a szomszédba mennénk, egy baráti borozásra, beszélgetésre.
Ám fontos hangsúlyt fektetnek arra is, hogy segítsenek másoknak. Korábban a Győri állatmenhelynek segítettek, egy fotózással, míg karácsonykor a város árváit lepték meg ajándékkal, melyhez rengeteg vendég csatlakozott.
